Economic mission in Konin

From 7 to 9 June, the third edition of the economic mission organized by the City of Konin for representatives of foreign enterprises from Turkey, Austria and the Czech Republic as well as companies from the Eastern Wielkopolska region operating in the field of renewable energy and smart specializations took place. This year's edition of the economic mission was devoted to the topic: Transformation as an opportunity for development and attractiveness of the GPVE region.

On June 8, 2022, a conference was held at the Faktoria Restaurant in Konin, during which the assumptions of the project entitled "Building and promoting the brand: Greater Poland Energy Valley" and its current level of implementation. Prof. UPP dr hab. Eng. Wojciech Czekała discussed extensively the topic of fertilizing the use of biogas plant proferment. On the other hand, Mr. Paweł Piotrowicz - an expert of TUV SUD Polska, discussed the trends in the development of hydrogen technologies, energy storage and electromobility. The second part of the conference was started by Mr. Piotr Kolasa, attorney-at-law at Polowiec i Wspólnicy sp. J., Who presented legal regulations related to energy storage installations for prosumers. Dr inż. Jakub Pulka presented the research results and previous experience in the field of bio-waste as an energy source. In turn, the speeches of Ms Karolina Falkenberg from the Łódź Special Economic Zone S.A. and Ms Olga Przybył from the Turkish Entrepreneurship Incubator concerned the investment offer and business services in Eastern Wielkopolska. Pro-ecological activities for the Konin region in the field of waste management were discussed by Ms. Elżbieta Streker-Dembińska, Technical Director of MZGOK sp.z o.o. in Konin.

On the last day of the economic mission, foreign delegations took part in study visits to Konin entrepreneurs.
